We combine two different wedding styles, Traditional Coverage and Photo journalistic Coverage.

The traditional style includes all of the wedding images you have come to expect in a traditional wedding album, including portraits of the Bride and Groom, attendants, family, as well as the traditional happenings at your wedding.

The photo-journalistic style is more of a storytelling style of wedding photography. It includes un-posed, spontaneous photographs during the wedding day. Unlike most photographers, we have a combination of the two styles. You will receive artistic images and albums which have a scenic quality and are emotionally charged. The images have a natural look with an artistic expression. Imagine, beautiful wedding photographs that capture what really happened at your wedding, instead of what the photographer made happen.

  

With all of the fast paced action it is important to choose a photographer that has experience. Lighting conditions change rapidly and dealing with large groups of people is sometimes overwhelming for some photographers. Our philosophy is to capture the best photographs of your wedding in an unobtrusive manner.

How do I book Jay-Cyn’s Creations for my wedding?

A retainer of ten percent of your wedding package is needed to secure your wedding date with us. Never pay anyone in full until you have some service or product. Agreeing to pay Photographers who ask for half or all upfront is not a wise business decision and should be avoided! 

Do you use an assistant?

It depends on the wedding but on most we do have an assistant.

Do you carry back up equipment and what about insurance?

We have been a full-time, full service studio for over 15 years so it is of utmost importance that we have multiple cameras, lenses and flash units. Yes we have business, liability, health, equipment, disability and life insurance which by the way are not cheap!

Can we purchase pictures online?

Yes we have a very easy ordering interface for purchasing pictures.

Why do you not have a wedding price list online?

We have been photographing weddings for over 15 years and have found that no two weddings are alike. Some couples want full coverage others only a few hours. Some want beautiful wedding albums some just want to purchase a high resolution disk. We try to help our customers identify what they want and customize packages that will work with their budget. Therefore we do not post “set in stone pricing” which only leads customers to shop for price. Your wedding images will be the most important part of your wedding when you get back from your honeymoon. You want them to be of excellent quality, you want to relive your day through the images your photographer creates.

It is imperative that you select a photographer that has the skill, experience and confidence to deliver the images you want and deserve. Choosing a photographer based on price is a recipe for disappointment.

When is the best time to have my Bridal Portrait and Engagement Portraits created?

If you want to have a Bridal Portrait on display at your reception you should schedule your portrait session at least a month in advance of the wedding. For engagement portraits we recommend six months prior to the wedding.
